"Mighty Power Awakening"

No one but God knows when Jesus will return to this world. However, many Christians believe we are living .in the end times. We are admonished to observe the signs of the times and not be caught unawares.

After graduating from East Tennessee State University, I taught school in the Washington County, Tennessee schools prior to moving to the Southwest. In Phoenix I renewed and pursued an interest in art while substitute teaching in the Phoenix school system. I am primarily interested in portraiture and Phoenix offered an abundance of interesting subjects. The rugged and proud Native Americans soon became a favorite.

My spontaneous kid clown, “Moon Beams”, are explosions of color in pastel and are popular with kids and adults alike. You can find these in children’s bedrooms from Gila Bend to Hong Kong.

My work has been shown in a number of venues and galleries in Arizona, Tennessee, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. While living in New Haven in the 90’s, I was permitted to draw portraits in Yale’s British Museum of Art. I also exhibited my art in the Connecticut Women’s Art Exhibit at the John Ely Slade Gallery in New Haven.

Since moving to Pennsylvania, music, especially song writing, has been my chief focus. I have, however, shown my Native American portraits at Bloomingdale’s in Willow Grove, Kulpsville Antiques, The Red Barn and others.
